Nicholas Vun Associate Professor, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore; Co-founder, IEEE CE Society Singapore Chapter; Associate Editor, IEEE Consumer Electronics magazine

Nicholas VUN received his BEng, MEngSci from Monash University, Australia and PhD from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Engineering (Division of Hardware and Embedded Systems) in Nanyang Technological University. His main research interests are in embedded related signal conversion, signal processing and applications.

He co-founded the IEEE CES Singapore Chapter in 1996, and was the general chair of the inaugural IEEE ISCE conference organized by the CES Chapter in Singapore in 1997, as well as the general chair for ISCE 2011. He has also involved in numerous program committees for various IEEE conferences, and currently is one of the Associate Editors of the IEEE Consumer Electronics magazine.
